25/1/12 CNY day 3. Met up with ck, jj & bf. Went to house visit. My shop was 1st then to jj's house. A pity no photos taken at my shop.

After 2hours of sleep, all woke up by me.

CNY was good. My most love festival is CNY. Cos got $$$$.(Maybe after I get married then don't like alr, cos need to give $$. Hahha.) I think my total ang pao I got was $500-$600+. Hehehe. Quite a lot cos dad & godpa each gave $100 each. This helps to increase my total amount. BUT. So much also no use. I need to spend on wh, g & bf. CNY brings back lots of memories. Looking at cousins' children, I also want to have baby!!! Can't wait for that day to come.
Also went to USS with jj, ck & bf on Friday. Shall blog more when I got the pictures!

BonJapan One Piece

27/1/12 Bought Outlet vouchers for the BonJapan One Piece event. $19.90 each & was utterly disappointed. Thought we can find some nice One Piece stuffs there but we bought nothing.

Most of the stuffs were choppa which I'm not at all interested neither bf. We both prefer Luffy or the skeleton!!

$19.90 consists of the pudding chocolate, some sweets, a One Piece handphone chain, tea & a pathetic small un-delicious cake. Wasted our money!!!!!!!!!

It's not even a cafe please. It's a pathetic looking place at Orchard Central.

Some random One Piece characters keychains which we don't like at all.

So we wasted total of $39.80 with nothing worth buying. Will never go to Bonjapan again. Sucks la. & everything so damn overpriced! =(

Planning for the big day

Nowadays all I do is go online trying to find some good, pretty places for ROM. Had plan with bf for our ROM to be this year end. We had drag it for quite long since he proposed to me. Initially wanted the whole ROM & wedding dinner thing to be together this year end but we did not save much money for it. It is worst when all is paid by bf only. I'm still studying & I can't chip in much money. =( We going to have our wedding photos taken this mid-year, money needed. We haven buy our wedding bands, money needed. So if we want the whole thing squeeze together this year it will be so hard on bf. After much discussion, it's better for us to ROM 1st then wedding next year. We had planned for a date so now we need is ROM venue. It's so hard to find a pretty place yet fits in our budget! On top of finding ROM venue, we still got wedding dinner venue to look for. Another problem. All the hotels' prices are $1.1k++ onwards. Then! I got bridal gown, photographer, videographer & so much more stuffs to look at. So it's either I bring my criteria lower or I'm freaking loaded which both also won't happen! Even though bf told me not to worry about the money & choose anything I want. He will accommodate to all my wants & needs but how can I do that when I'm not forking out any money. Arghhh. Planning for wedding is really such a difficult task. Everything is about money money money! I regretted for not saving early!
Even though it's quite a task to plan for it, I will try to enjoy the process. & most importantly, await for the day when I become Mrs.Lim ♥ hehe.

I don't understand why is it so hard to sleep when omu is not beside me . I know its because of my feel. Without her I seems just nothing to do at times. With her, everything is just so relaxing. Everything seems so perfect.
I always wonder what is it like to marry her , is it 1 that will make her life tougher? Or it is 1 which is deem more happier . I understand the power of saving and what monetary can bring convenience in life. But somehow, I just can't pass my level of money control.
Although omu always told me that, the only thing that I am no good is that I am fat :( but I guess there are so much of imperfection in me ... G told me that she always want things to be in place, nice, to her ideal , so much that even ppl called her a perfectionist at times.
I really hope some where in me hold this responsibilty to give omu a better life.
I don't know whether will this be my emo msg that will be forgotten tomorrow . But one thing I wanna start is that, I really hope to overcome me.

Chinatown Chinese New Year

Yesterday night went to Chinatown with bf parent. Dragon all around. Can already start to feel the Chinese New Year at Chinatown!

There were lots of people & lots of cars. It's better to take a public transport there.

All you can see is red stuffs all around. All kinds of patterns & designs.

Bf loves this cat family. He said when next time we have our house he will buy something like this to place it in our house. =)

This 1 look super cheeky & cute. I was amused by it.

1 street was decorative stuffs & the other was all FOOOOOOOOD!!! Free samples all around! Especially nuts. Stupid bf will stop at each individual nuts shop to take some & eat.

Rubbish all around the floor. & there were damn a lot a lot of rubbish. I wonder how the cleaners going to clean it.

Jellies. & we end our walk cos it was damn late already. Should go there earlier, I think I never really walk finish all the streets. I can't wait for Chinese New Year! Can't wait to wear new clothes & can't wait for the red packets! =)))))

Changi City Point

Went to Changi City Point just now with bf. A lot outlet mall there like Nike, Adidas, Esprit, Royal Sporting house & much more. BUT! The outlet stores sucks big time!!! They freaking don't know what the hell does outlet means. I look at the items most of them are like 10 to 20% off. Please la!!! So pathetic might as well don't give! Outlet should be 50% to 70% off!! Hais. Singapore outlet stores sucks. I need to save more money to go overseas!! Outlets outside are so much better than here. & anyway Changi City Point is pointless. Nothing much to shop 1. Not going back there again. Expo is so much better(when there is fair going on).

I know what kind of person I am. What kind of bad, evil person. I always tell myself to be someone better, not to everybody but at least to people who are worth it but my emotions always get over my head. My EQ is freaking low. I let my emotions control my behaviors. Many times even though my heart tells myself that it's wrong to act like this or think like this, eventually, my emotions will get over me. Making me behave like a selfish bitch. I really hope 1 day I can change this cos it's not who I wanna be. I want to be someone like bf who can be so selfless. I want to be selfless not selfish to the people I love.

I also don't think for others. If I don't get what I want or things don't go as what I want them to be, I will just give attitude or throw my temper, even to bf. I got a serious attitude problem & character problem. Sometimes after I bitch about some people I feel damn bad on why should I do that, not as if they did something bad to me. I can't always judge people on how I want to. They might be someone nice? But I just can't help it & bitch again. I'm contradicting myself.

But I'm really working on changing myself. Always telling myself not to do what is not suppose to & control myself stupid temper & emotions. I really want to become someone like bf but when will I be?

24/12/11 Bf came to pick me from work & we had a simple Chirstmas Eve together. All I want for Christmas is yoU.

We don't know what to have for dinner so randomly saw sushi & we went in for sushi.

& I saw dream catcher!!!!!!!! Bought a dream catcher necklace & a dream catcher to hang on my window hoping for good dreams everyday! Hehe. So it's sort of a Christmas present from bf. Not as if we really care about Christmas but whatever.

Spent like $4 & we got all this small thing from the toy catcher machine. Hahha. The hello kitty looks cute but the Elmo is scary!

I wanted this 2 instead of the Hello Kitty & Elmo. Hhahah I think this is cuter although we got no use for it.

Randomly told bf I can use it to tie hair & he told me to try it.

Look like stupid at Mcdonald's & the clock hits 12 we wish each other Merry Christmas & went home cos I was really tired from work.

25/12/11 Went to his grandma house for steamboat. & we ate this big lollipop that we bought from Universal Studio. Too big for us to finish all.

29/12/11 It was my off day! Hehe & I got bf to bring me to Hatched for breakfast. Being a very very nice bf like always, he will bring me everywhere I want to go. =)

Nowadays he don't like me take photos of him so sad.

The first dish came & the 2 retarded us just eat anything that comes to our table without knowing we didn't order this. They gave the wrong order but by the time they told us, we had already finish everything up. Hahhaha. I still can't believe how stupid were the 2 of us. But the scramble eggs quite nice ar. Hhahah.

Then the omelette with beef & capsicum inside which I don't like. The toast damn nice.

Then the egg benedict. By the time this came I was quite full from the food. Total bill with 1 latte & passion fruit tea was $50+. Overall I think the food is average only la but bf think it's not bad. I don't think I will go back to this ulu place again.

We didn't get to sit inside. It's for those who made reservation.

31/12/11 Saw another cute car on the way to bf house.

Found 2 vintage cameras at his house.

So our new year's eve was spend cooking dinner together. Bf knows that I love omurice & his nickname for me is omurice so our challenge was to cook omurice using a wok. First we cooked tomato rice with cabbages, sausages, waxed sausage & luncheon meat. We added lots of random stuffs that should not be in the rice. The tomato rice was easy, the difficult part was when we need to wrap the rice using the egg. Bcos the rice was too much, our contingency plan was to just use the egg to cover the rice. But getting the egg out from the wok was damn impossible. In the end that's the best we can get. It was delicious! A simple new year's eve & we spent the day cuddling on bed watching fireworks from the TV. Every year had being good as long as I got my precious ones with me. =)

Bintan Last Day

23/12/11 Last day in Bintan. Everything good will always come to an end. After breakfast, went to the beach to slack. Since our ferry time is in the late afternoon, we still have some time around the hotel.

A must do on the beach. To write our name on the sand!

Then bf's turn to write.

He said that is a symbol for Y&J. Looks more like a flower to me.

A series of failed jump shots pictures which I cannot post bcos it's too ugly. Hhahah. We always have fun taking jump shots pictures.

Saw a lizard & i went to chase it. Bf was scolding me saying it might be dangerous & if I got beaten I might lose my life. Hhahaha. & I faster went back to bf in case the lizard got angry & chase me.

Checked out of the hotel & we had nowhere to go so back to our favourite spot, slacking at the beach.

& we took turns to pick seashells by the sea shores.

I didn't manage to find much.

Bf walked around the beach & went freaking far.

& he came back with damn many seashells!

Pretty pretty seashells & we left them by the beach.

Then went to Dino Bistro, 1 of the restaurants for lunch.

Pizza! They got nice pizza.

Their drinks always suck.

& home sweet home back to Singapore. Thanks bf for the planning. Thanks for the surprise. Thanks for everything. It was really a great birthday present for a girl like me who LOVES to travel. Glad to have a guy like you! =) I love you darling! Ok la, also thanks to that 2 bitches. Hhahahah for the ang pao money to make it even more enjoyable for me to have lots of money to spend without worries. =) I'm a bless girl to have met you people. =) 21st birthday had being great for me. Bintan is a great place to relax, to stay away from stressful & tiring Singapore. A memorable, meaningful trip for me. =)

Bintan Day 2

22/12/11 Start the day with the same buffet spread. =( But still happy cos I got my bf with me. Hehe.

We booked a package for the mangrove tour+lunch+shopping at Pasar Oleh Oleh. The fireflies tour was too dark for us to have a good look at the mangrove so a day tour now. Per person $50.

This is our guide who was very friendly. Basically everybody we met in Bintan were very friendly. Very very very unlike Phuket.

The boat is full but lucky us! Our boat there is only the 2 of us! Hehe.

This is our driver. We help the 2 of them to take pictures using my polaroid & I gave 1 polaroid to each of them. Hehe. So kind of me.

December is monsoon period & it always always rain. But I told bf during my birthday, it will never rain & it really did not. & lucky of us, the 3 days in Bintan, the weather was good with no rain! =) I'm a lucky December baby.

Wonderful experience of nature which you will never get it in Singapore. Even better when there was only 2 of us! =)

We saw snake, lizard, monkeys & crabs along the way. I guess we were lucky to be able to see so many things cos not every time people will get to see them. It's based on luck.

& we saw crocodile!! The guide said this is counted as small. Like what the hell! It's was freaking big to us.

Next up, lunch.

Anyway the lunch sucks la. I guess we were not use to Indonesian food.

A small shopping area, Kampoeng Lagoi. Nothing much to buy there.

& a small shopping area too, Pasar Oleh Oleh with nothing much to buy also. Only local snacks to buy back to Singapore. There was an outlet store there selling Polo Ralph Lauren at around $50+ for their Polos but I don't dare to buy any not knowing if it's a real or fake one.

Next we went for a spa! Hahhaha. $65 each person for massage+scrub+bath. I love Indonesian massage compare to Thai massage! Thai massage is all about cracking your body but Indonesian massage is more softer & comfortable. The body scrub was good also. I freaking love spas now! If only the spas in Singapore is not that expensive then I can bring bf once every few times.

Back to the hotel to wait for the shuttle bus to Kelong for dinner.

We ordered a set meal which was $98++ for 2. Everything on the menu is freaking expensive. You will at least spend a $100 there no matter what unless you only order rice & no dishes. Sharkfins soup was good.

The chicken was average.

Cuttlefish super nice. I don't know is it bcos I love sotong, so everything that is sotong is nice to me or it is really nice. I really love to eat sotong so so so so much!!! Feel like eating it now!

Vegetables was good.

Prawn average. Not super fresh that kind which we expect of Kelong seafood.

Crab was ok. The best dish that we had there was the bun that is use to dip the crab sauce!!!!!!!!!! FREAKING DELICIOUS! No picture if it but the freaking bun is $1 for 1. Being a very sweet bf, hehe, bf peel everything for me so I no need to dirty my hands. This kind of bf where to find! Hahahha.

Then back to the hotel room to slack with snacks which is the best activities of all. =)))))))

Bintan Day 1

At midnight, we went back to bf house before taking cab to my house to stay. Bf was always telling me my birthday present will be a memory no physical item for me & he said he had book a chalet at Sentosa to stay for 3days 2nights. When reached his house, he gave me few papers & I was quite shock to see that he had booked a Bintan trip for me. HEHEHHEHEHE. I didn't thought that he will bring me overseas & I was like "OMG MY PASSPORT NOT AT HOME LEH!!! HOW?!!" Bcos it was 12+am already so it's damn tiring if I have to go back to Dad's shop to get my passport. & that stupid bf gave me a shock face also saying "WHY DIDN'T YOU PUT YOUR PASSPORT AT HOME!? PUT AT SHOP FOR WHAT?!" The next minute he threw a passport to me. Stupid bf had already took my passport from my mum. Super surprise & touch by his actions!!! ♥_♥

21/12/11 Early morning cabbed to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal with ♥.

Super tired face cos we didn't have much sleep. But super happy mood too!

& just 1 hour, we reached Bintan!

Just 10mins ride to Nirwana Resort Hotel.

Very pretty place with lots of facilities.

Had our brunch 1st. The next 2 days breakfast was a bad 1 cos everyday we ate almost the same fooooood!!!

I'm glad I brought my Kitty Lab cap there. After 1-2 years my 1st time wearing it. & it helps in covering my ugly face.

Bought a key chain. Bf said from now onward, every country we went, we will buy 1 key chain for memory sake. Then the next time when we get our house, we will have 1 corner for displaying all the key chains we bought.

The good thing in Bintan is that they use Singapore dollar. But everything is freaking expensive. 1 can of coke is $4. A freaking $4!!!! Crazy or what!

I was losing at the first few rounds but after that I got the trick of bowling & I got much better then bf. Hhehehe. & I win him!

Next up, archery. Looks easy but damn hard to play la. Need lots of strength & very firm hands.

Surprisingly I was damn good at it. Hahhaha. My aiming was so good & i can hit the very tiny small target. I can apply for a job as a killer at this rate. Hahha.

Quite an experience for us. Wanted to try flying fox but there's only 2 of us & nobody to help us to take pictures & we gave up the idea. Everything is money money money there. If I didn't remember wrongly, $8 for 25 archery & $8 for 25 bullets for air rifle.

Then we went to take a look at the beach. Not a pretty beach I can say.

You can't swim or anything cos it's quite dirty like Singapore beach. Green green kind. Prefer Phuket 1!

So not conscious about my image anymore. Very very cui.

The environment around Nirwana Garden was good.

A massage place next to the beach. A pity it was full if not we can try it.

So we drag the chair under the shelter & took a nap there.

It was damn damn damn relaxing. Windy weather, the sounds of the wave & the right company. You can forget about all the stress & nap there. So relaxing till we fall asleep but after that it was too cold so I told bf to go back to the room.

It's really a Happy Birthday to me!

We booked a tour to see the fireflies!!! 1st time in my life! The tour is like $35 per person & there will be a driver coming to our hotel to pick us up & also send us back.

We had to take a boat to travel down the river to the mangrove to see the fireflies.

While waiting for the other people to come, we took a series of colourful ugly pictures.

I really love taking colourful pictures! But it's quite a hassle to take it.

The fireflies tour were damn good. A pity camera cannot catch it down but it will always be a very good memory. It's damn amazing to see so many so many fireflies at 1 time. There were so many of them on the trees that the trees had turned into a Christmas tree. Blink blink all around. All I can say is that it's SUPER PRETTY SUPER NICE! Have to see it yourself to understand the feeling. I'm really happy!!

But in reality, the fireflies look damn ugly. Hahhah. We caught 1 & put it in the bottle. It's very amazing to see its butt shining. After that we don't know where it went, I think the housekeeping threw the bottle away. But fireflies live to die. It's like the male live to find the female, after having sex, the male dies. Then after the female give birth, then the female dies. & the cycles continue. Like so pathetic! Nonetheless they are still beautiful in the night.

The chicken too. But freaking expensive. Total bill $60+. It's all about spending money & relaxing in Bintan, nothing more. Maybe massage but in Phuket massage is so much cheaper.

21st Birthday Dinner

Had planned a birthday dinner with my precious ones. My family, bf & that 2 bitches.

My darling who had being through with me thick & thin, giving me tender, loving, care. =)

Had the dinner at Thai Thai at Mandarin Gallery.

The food were really good there. Very delicious! The serving were too little for 8 people so we had to order 2 plates per dish. Total bill for everything was close to $400. Out of my own pocket but it was all worth it. I enjoyed the dinner with my love ones.

My dear friends. I really really love them a lot a lot but we are always to busy to meet up after we graduated from poly. Even though I get to see Lai almost everyday when Uni start but I really hope for more sessions for us 3 girls or even +bf. The 2 of them have too much friends to entertain. Hope the coming year we will have more time for each other. I don't wanna let our 'close-ness' end as we get busy with our life.

The guy who is always there for me tolerating all my nonsense, teaching me to be a better person. Loving me since I'm 15 till now I'm 21. Hehe. I love you!

Not forgetting my family who I love a lot. No pictures of them posted cos I don't like to post my family photos online. Just this small little polaroid posted. I love my family so so so so much!! The ones who had tolerated me since I'm 0 years old till now. My parent who always have to give in to my bad princess attitude. My siblings that I love dearly. Today my wonderful bf came to find me at work with food again!! ♥ 17Dec was fried rice which was super delicious & today was carrot cake. I was damn amazed that he knows how to cook carrot cake cos to me it looks difficult. It really taste like the carrot cake I ate in hawker. Whatever he cook is damn delicious to me! Hehe. I'm so thankful for such a wonderful bf! =) ♥ I love u darling.

Hee , another day @ uss , me and dear went to try out the transformer ride. Its a wonderful ride I would say . We also tried out the roller coaster , but this time at the front seats . Whooa .. Really different feel la .. Dear keep holding to her specs , afraid that it might drop .

Xmas USS

See that pink fish & the small guppy. That pink 1 is mine & guppy is bf's. We decided to buy it for fun & put it in bf's father fish tank which has lots of big fish inside. Not knowing if our fish will stay alive, we decided to put them in. Hhahahha. I think bf's guppy is eaten by the other big fish but mine is still a survivor! In the end bf bought another fish & put inside, a orange 1 & both the fishes still alive & I think they are getting use to living with the big fishes alr. Hehe.

Pester bf to bring me to USS. Hehehe. Being the best bf ever, my wish is his command.

USS is having Christmas decorations. & the 1st thing we saw is this monster with winter wear on. Hhahah. So cute.

I'm so thankful for the free 1 year pass from uncle. I really love going USS with bf. Even though it's all about the same stuffs, the feeling of going there is so good. It's like you are away from Singapore for a moment. Away from reality & in a fairyland. If only there is Disneyland in Singapore, that will be a real fairyland.

There were so many people during a weekend. We tried out the new Transformer ride. Damn fun!! Hahhaha. Just like the Spiderman ride that I played before in Universal Studio Osaka.

Being working for the past few days. & bf did something really really sweet. He is forever doing very very sweet stuffs for me making me feel so touch & 幸福 to have him as my bf. 3/12/11 bf went to my work place, he waited 40minutes for me without complaining. He was very very understanding & did not flare at me. I went to the car, thought he is driving me to somewhere to eat but he brought food for me which was cooked by him! I was so touch till tears going to roll down la! 4/12/11 He did the same thing again! Hehe I think it's bcos I told him I will like him to come with food cooked by him if he's free & he really did. Every mouth was like "eating happiness". I really shouldn't complain so much about my life when I got someone who love me so dearly & I also do.

Turkey Day9 and last day

24/11/11 It's the last day in Turkey & we only got a few hours to walk around before going to the airport.

Walk around aimlessly.

The weather is very very very good on the last day. It's so unlucky for us, when we were there it was damn cold but before we going back to Singapore, the weather is cooling like air-con.

Wy-wy in Turkey with me. I really feel so much better with this accompany me when bf is not around with me. Wy-wy take over the role of bf. Hahhaha.

The streets were quite messy & you can lost your way very easily if you don't take note of where you were going. But I enjoy walking around the beautiful area.

Even their food look so much nicer then Singapore 1.

The dog there also damn furry but the dogs were not very cute.

You need very good driving skill to drive in Turkey bcos there are many small alley around which really test your driving skills & parallel parking.

At the airport doing some last minute shopping. Really regret not buying the stuffs I saw on the streets. Things in airport were really expensive!!! Next time if I go travel, if I see anything I like must just buy!!! Cannot have the mindset of "aiya maybe later will see it again & maybe cheaper also". Super regret!

Back to Singapore to see my darling.

25/11/11 Breakfast on the plane. Reached Singapore at 5am++ & met bf in the evening. Hehe. The sweet bf did what I told him, he booked the tickets for Twilight: Breaking Dawn tickets & brought me to eat frog porridge cos I missed Singapore food so much! I love my darlingggggggggggg.

I will go back to Turkey again but for the purpose of accompany bf there since he had not gone before but it will be a very very long time before I go back. Other then the stupid long hours bus ride, Turkey was good. There might not be any shopping to do & lots of boring+interesting history, I really love sight seeing. The buildings were so beautiful. Turkey is a very beautiful place. I will wait for the day I go back with bf! =)

Turkey Day8

23/11/11 First stop, wentto Troy where we see the ruins of nine cities built on top of each other and an enormous reconstruction of the famous wooden Trojan horse.

There was total of 9 cities building on top of each other meaning at first, they built city 1 then they upgrade to city 2 then continue until city 9.

The far away plant area was once water. Over the times, the soil filled up the water & now it become land.

Until now, the archeologists are still digging out the Troy cities that were buried underground due to earthquake. I wonder how long they will finish digging.

After that, the tour bus went up a ferry with us inside.

Along the shores of Marmara Sea back to Istanbul, the Europe side. 1 moment we were at Asia, the other moment at Europe.

Went for lunch 1st.

I preferred Istanbul. Might be bcos it's at the Europe side, they have more influence on the Western cultural which suit the kind of Singapore lifestyle.

Went to Grand Bazaar. Nothing much sold inside. Slivers, leather goods, fake clothes & some bo liao stuffs. Go there must really really bargain cos they mark up their price by so much. Must at least bargain 50% off. They confirm ok, if not just walk away & they will stop you. Bargaining at Turkey is better then Thailand la! Thailand also cannot bargain anymore!

Went to the toilet need 1TL= 80cents SGD. Freaking expensive. You need to pay the money to exchange for a token & put into the machine in order to get it. Hi-tech public toilet.

Many many people & tourist.

They sell lots of shi-sha stuffs. & aladdin lamp!!!!!! I nearly want to buy it but the thought of putting on the table with no use I dismiss the idea. But it was freaking pretty & cute!!! Forget to take a picture of it! =(

Go Turkey must eat kebab. Very very delicious! 5TL.

Walk down the street of Taksim Square.

I like Taksim square even though there are nothing to buy there cos it's like Singapore's Orchard road. It's better than Orchard road cos I love all the European style buildings. I saw a Mcdonald's that is in European style building so nice!

Went to a Chinese restaurant for dinner. Finally no more similar buffet food.

The taste was not authentic but it was very delicious. I think that is what happen when you have similar food everyday, you will appreciate something different.

The last hotel, grand hotel. Really very grand from the outside.

But the interior was average. It was super cold outside of the hotel but super hot inside the room. We had to open the window to let the cold air in. I was so afraid that there will be people climbing into the window in the middle of the night that I even had a nightmare of it. I dreamt that somebody climb inside. Hhahahah. But in fact I think it's impossible to climb inside unless that person is spider-man. I think I'm being insecure without bf to protect me. I think Istanbul is the only city with nightlife. We end our day in a beautiful place.

Turkey Day7

This is a day for traveling from city to city too.Kusdasi to Pergamon to Canakkale. First stop after breakfast is to the typical cheat money place. Since Turkey is famous for leather goods, we went to a leather shop. Catwalk the products for us. I saw a reversible leather jacket but it was freaking expensive. 875USD!!! Mother asked if I really want it, if I want she can bargain till maybe 500+. She must be crazy. I will never spend that amount of money & on one that got no brand at all. 1 crazy woman in our tour bought a jacket & bargain from 900+USD to 600+USD.

Traveled very very long hours to lunch place.

Cable car up to the ancient city of Pergamon to see the Acropolis- some of the sites includes Altar of Zeus, Temple of Athena, the library, arsenals and The Asclepion.

Really freaking lots of cats everywhere.

I was forced to take a picture with this. The sellers there were really friendly, it doesn't matter to them that you don't buy anything. Only a small number of people will give a black face when you ask the price & don't buy anything from them.

Everywhere you can see pomegranate juice too. Turkey people love nuts, spices, tea, coffee & pomegranate.

The white white spots are cotton plants! A pity we didn't have a chance to go down & get close to it.

The most eerie hotel we went to. Luckily nothing happen. As usual eat & sleep but got a small chat with my cousin. If only I can also have a comfortable chatting session with my sister. Age gap.

21/11/11 The view from my hotel room balcony.

The hotel is very pretty.

The hotel is like a chalet in blocks instead of a building, very nice.

The white place is the next stop!

Visited the extensive ruins of Hierapolis, an ancient Roman city.

The hot spring water & the white areas are minerals.

Look like snow but it's not. This is Cotton Castle, a World Heritage Site, made up of fascinating white terraces and pools created by calcareous hot spring waters flowing down the mountain.

There is a small area where we can take off our shoes & feel the hot spring water. It was super cold so you have to walk in a very very fast speed to the water & the water was not really hot. Then quickly walk back to wear our shoes. Really is buay tahan.

Cats cats cats againnnnnn. This cat looks like it got mustache.

Inside the place there is a pools of cleoprata. The reason for the name is bcos it was believe that in the past, cleoprata swim in the pool with her lover which I forgot what is the name. & now it is open to public to swim.

But seriously, how do people swim in this pool with the pillars inside?! & the pillars are not the design but the broken pillars that dropped in the pool due to earthquake. Earthquakes destroy many many historical places.

The grass is really greener in the other side. It's so pretty taking pictures in Turkey.

Looking at the old couple, I really hope I will grow old with my darling & remain so loving. Holding hands walking down the road, traveling to many different countries together.

Lunch area. Really is almost all restaurants also pretty la.

Everyday will see this kind of food. See until sian. Eat until sian.

That is House of the Virgin Mary where she is believed to have spent her last years.

All this are tissues where people wrote their wishes on it. Many funny wishes & those that said "tio 4D" confirm is Singaporean. A pity I didn't write any wishes down. But I got it in my heart.

Next stop, Ephesus, an ancient Roman city.

Headless statue. Many headless statue can be seen cos the neck is the most fragile part of the statue & when there is earthquake, the neck will break first with the head drop down. I think the head cannot be found if not the will "glue" it back.

It was once destroy by earthquake but the archeologist took 30years to find & gather the pieces together then "glue" the front of the library back. From the trip, I learnt that finding the pieces is sex to the archeologist & being able to "glue" the right pieces together is orgasm. HAHAHHA. History=sex.

20/11/11 It's all about traveling from this city to the other city this day. Super hate the long hours on the bus without anything to do! From Cappadocia to Konya then to Pamukkale.

It was damn cold so I have to cover up my face too. Next time I will bring a mask if I travel in winter. Really cannot tolerate cold.

This is a restaurant which is located in out of nowhere. But we were surprised when we went in.

It was beautiful inside.

I stood there & the cat walk over & around me. Very cute but it dirty my shoes with its paws prints.

I like this! so cuteeeeeeeeeeee. Pink pink pink! The design is so nice but didn't buy it cos I think it will be a waste of money if I buy when you can't wear it in Singapore.

Reached Tripolis hotel in Pamukkale. Pamukkale has very clear sky so in the night, you can see many many beautiful stars. MANY MANY! Very very nice views which you can't see in Singapore.

19/11/11 Early morning woke up preparing to go for hot air balloon for the first time!!

Back to the hotel for breakfast & a waiter gave me a rose make of tissue & request to take a photo with me. Too bad. The rose is crashed when I left the hotel.

We went to Goreme Open-air Museum.

It is a rock-carved churches with some of it decorated with scratched frescoes.

All I can say, even though all are just rock, but the view is really beautiful. Something that you will never find in Singapore.

Start to snow again. I love the snow even though it was really cold for me. I had fun opening my mouth, sticking out my tongue & trying to eat some snow. Hahhaha. I really hope to go somewhere with lots lots lots thick snow!! I wanna play snowball fight, do my guardian angel & snowman!!

Visited the underground City of Kaymakli, one of the largest underground cities there, said to existed since the Hittite period.

The place is 20levels underground.

The people in the past had to walk around in the small small hole squat-walking. I really wonder how people in the past who are trying to protect themselves from their enemies who were outside the underground city. Their kitchen, bedroom & etc looks the same to me. But so cool of the people who made this.

To Golden Yarn Carpet to see how the people made the carpet & also kanna irritate to buy stuffs which we will never buy. Luckily got idiots that paid 175usd for the small carpet if not I don't think we can leave if no one buy anything.

All the ladies doing the carpet & sometimes it can take up to years to finish one.

18/11/11 Breakfast buffet, nothing much to eat too. They got many vegetables, cheese & breads. None of it I like.

Cottage, countryside feel.

On the road saw more areas with more snow!

Stop over at this place that is filled with snow for toilet break.

Next time I wanna go to a country with lots of snows! I wanna go "guardian angel" on the snow. That's my wish. & also a white Christmas! I think that will take very long. Need to save so much money!

After the area with snow, then we reach a place that look like desert. But it's cold out there.

From Bolu, we cam to Ankara, the capital of Turkey. Visited this magnificent Ataturk Mausolem where the final resting place for Mustafa Kemal Ataturk (Father of Modern Turkey).

Lots of students. This guy is very important to Turkey people like LKY to Singapore. He is sort of the founder of Turkey & the one who change Turkey to a westernize country.

Everyone was not moving when they heard a music which I don't really know what was it.

The young kids were really cute in their winter wear. Like small hamburger.

Restaurant for lunch.

Start with a salad again which sucks bcos there is no dressing!!! Super healthy la the Turkey people. No wonder I don't see any fat people around.

Soup.

Beef rice. They love to eat beef cos there is no pork in the country. & bcos of the spices they used, all the dishes smell the same. & all their restaurant smell the same. The smell of their spices just like when you walk into any Indian store you smell jasmine & curry spices.

I don't know what is this. Their desserts are all very very very sweet! They love to eat till very sweet or very salty.

Every where is selling the same kind of stuffs but we got no time to shop. 1 thing about tour packages is that you are always rushing to the next stop. No free & easy mood for you.

The kids who were very amazed to see Asian. To them Asian are all Japanese cos every kids who saw us will Konichiwa~ I don't think they even know Singapore exist. But they were super friendly & cute.

Went to the Museum of Ancient Anatolian Civilizations- a historic caravanserai holding artifacts from 7500years ago.

History history & more history. Even though I'm not very into all these history, I enjoyed looking at the buildings.

This is salt lake. A lake where they get their salt. & the white stuffs there were all salt. It was too cold for me to walk any further.

& we reached Cappadocia, another city. At our hotel, Avrasya Hotel.

Almost all the hotel buffet got the same settings. A vegetables corner.

Cold vegetables corner. Then a dessert & main dish corner which I got no photo of it. Very very healthy living. I like.

The restaurant are always in fine dining settings.

& we sleep after dinner. Nothing much for this day cos we were traveling from city to city. It sucks when the country is too big. You spend many time traveling sitting on the bus till your butt turns big & fat. At least I learn a lesson of bringing drama series along if there will be very long bus rides!

Turkey Day1 & 2

16/11/11 Night flight to Turkey, Istanbul.

Sandwich for bites.

Breakfast. I like the meals on board.

17/11/11 Reached Istanbul airport. Local time was 5am+.

With SA Tours.

Picture is not very clear but those on sky were seagulls. MANY MANY of them. Cos there is a fish market there, many seagulls gathered there hoping to have some food.

Besides seagulls, there were lots of pigeons. & people were feeding them cos pigeons in Turkey are holy.

Love the architect in Turkey. Many are of European style, the kind that I like.

It was raining & freaking cold with the wind. The people there were already getting use to the cold, they can live without gloves & no need to wrap up like a hamburger like us.

With gloves my hands were still numb.

Many spices, nuts & dried food.

Bcos my memory is not that good to remember every single things, I will write whatever is written in the SA brochure.

If I'm not wrong, this is Blue Mosque. It's called Blue Mosque cos of the blue tiles for the interior.

I need to wear that blue cloth cos my jacket length was too short & I was wearing legging instead of pants.

This is from a church to mosque then to museum now. One of the great architectural marvels of the ancient world.

The cats in Turkey were damn cute!!! Fluffy & furry.

We were going to the Topkapi Palace, once the seat of the Ottoman Empire. Today, it is a museum palace with a wide collection of porcelain, antiques, holy reclis and other treasure.

Our lunch restaurant. Almost all the restaurant in Turkey are very very pretty. Unlike Singapore, only some are of very nice ambiance, in Turkey, you turn right, turn left also got beautiful.

Tomato soup. In Turkey, their meals will always consists of a soup, vegetables(with no dressings) then main dish & desserts.

The rice that the Turkey people eat very nice! Like Japanese pearl rice!

After that, off to the next city, Bolu.

A very long ride....

Our first hotel. Koru Otel. Nice cottage feel. & it start to snow!! Excited me seeing snow for the first time! But the snow wasn't that big.

End our day with a buffet dinner. After dinner straight away back to hotel room to sleep la! EVERYDAY AFTER DINNER IS SLEEP! How much fats were stored in my body! =(

Turkey is all about history. There history go back till so long ago, to the ancient time. & history of Islamic, Christianity & Turkey. Going to Turkey is like going to a History class. But a good experience!

I still got so many days to blog about & more history....

Lessons learnt from Turkey trip

The weather in Turkey was super cold & the bus rides for traveling in between cities were freaking long hours!

#1 Bring socks! Thick thick socks for super cold weather! & wear boots!!
#2 Bring heat pack!!!!
#3 Wear super thick clothes or thermal wear!
#4 Wear clothes that are fitting not loose!!! I wore very loose clothes & even though it was thick, the cold air kept on go into my clothes making me colder!
#5 Bring my own money if travel with family without bf cos it's better to use my own money without looking at mother's "face" if I want to buy lots of useless stuffs
#6 Bring lots of mask for everyday use cos the cold weather make my face super DRY!
#7 Bring some entertainment like download damn a lot a lot a lot of movies or drama on ipod or phone cos the bus rides were too long hours & you will be damn bored in the bus!! With portable charger!
#8 Good to have a translator cos many people don't understand English
#9 Try to have bf to travel together if possible! Without him I'm so bored!!!!
#10 Next time to cold country I will dress much better like the Japanese!! Buy more pretty winter stuffs!!!

Ok, all these are what I can think now for my note to self. I hope I will have money to travel to cold country again!

In Turkey hotel

I'm in the hotel now, nothing to do, waiting for 615pm(Turkey time) for dinner. 5pm+ here is already very very dark. Till now, it had being fun but freaking COLD. Freezing cold. Today was ok though. & I see snow for the first time in my life! It's snowing almost everyday but a pity the snow will melt away so I can't play any snowball fight nor do a guardian angel on the snow. Ok. I miss my darling bf. If only he is here with me. Everything will be perfect! I miss u darling.
